Hi there,
I recently bought a volvo 840 estate 2.5 petrol the driver door wont unlock from the key supplied but fits all other locks cept glovebox. The fob is also missing which leads to my question.I checked my relay and determined i need the #9442983 fob but the trouble is ebay doesnt seems to list part number so a visual of the right fob would be great.Or any info and selecting the right fob just from the pics on ebay. Thanks for any help |

The one you can programme your self has 1 circle button which is combine lock/un lock, the one you need programming has a seperate lock and un lock and both are next to each other. Try opening your boot lock to get in for the time being as that will open you central locking.

After reading the owners manual i see your info could be a bit off.In the reprograming guide in the manual its says "press 1 of the 2 buttons".Can anyone confirm this?

As far as i am aware this part number is for a kit of one alarm receiver and 2 new fobs.....What you will need to do is to find out if Volvo do a additional fob for the kit..
