I have been told that certain Timpson branches can supply a spare key for my 2007 MKII V70 D5 but I need to take the car to them so they can programme it. I was also told that their work is guaranteed and there is a branch within 40 miles so I might give them a try. prices were quoted at around £160.00. regards turbo d

Simple way of dealing with all this...

Take the transducer (little chip, does not require battery power) out of the one key you have left.
Undo the three torx screws around the steering column.
Secure the transducer around the circular field transmitting sensor around the column.

Then just get as many keys as you want and get them cut.
Don't worry about programming them to the car.

No thief will attempt to steel a modern car without the keys, so you have nothing to worry about with regards to the immobiliser, and no one will know.

160.00 GBP a key, I assume ? Wonder what your experience with them will be, have two lame keys (top part) and it will be rather costly. There are plenty of Tibson's around here (or Timpson) so keep up posted if you will ?

Just be aware that your memory seats will only tie up to the one transducer.

Default What is included in the programming ?

Both power seats, interior light and coming / leaving home lights ? Or is something more included in the programming ?
