Don't get your hopes up as this is spec'd only for the German and Benelux countries! The UK is meant to just freeze!

As posted in previous posts, You can get this in UK, but only "after market". If you check the first part of this post, you'll see the full part numbers etc. The timer is just a software update (software cost £94 approx.) which then works through the trip computer. It doesn't need the engine running and does (with the genuine volvo heater) heats both the engine and the interior. The cheapest way I've found to buy a Volvo heater is through German Ebay. Hope this helps.

youngcantt- I can't seem to find one on there despite looking. I presume the redundant plug/electrics on the near side wing of the engine bay is the power supply for it? Do you know if it's a simple fit?

bobdabuilda, I've got a couple of links that should help locate where everything plugs in.
As follows:
http://vccs.volvocars.se/accessories...9be2&model=V70 (00-08) 2003 B5244T3&modelyear=V70 (00-08) 2003

http://vccs.volvocars.se/accessories...51f9&model=V70 (00-08) 2003 D5244T2&modelyear=V70 (00-08) 2003

The first one is for the plug in version and the second is for the fuel driven type.

Hope this helps, Chris

Chris,

I'd also appreciate the number (or exact title of the eBay item) please mate !!!

Is it going to be via timer or remote?

Also, are you fitting it yourself or having it done? Got any quotes?

ATB,

Darren.
