As posted in previous posts, You can get this in UK, but only "after market". If you check the first part of this post, you'll see the full part numbers etc. The timer is just a software update (software cost £94 approx.) which then works through the trip computer. It doesn't need the engine running and does (with the genuine volvo heater) heats both the engine and the interior. The cheapest way I've found to buy a Volvo heater is through German Ebay. Hope this helps.

youngcantt- I can't seem to find one on there despite looking. I presume the redundant plug/electrics on the near side wing of the engine bay is the power supply for it? Do you know if it's a simple fit?
