Hi Lexman ...I was directed here through another Volvo forum.
Looks like we have something in common. We have an appointment to bring it in on the 13th and I just sent in pics to Volvo Customer Care yesterday. |

It took 2 weeks and 3 visits to the dealer to diagnose the fault and I've been waiting since 30 Nov for the replacement comms module to be available. Not impressed by any of that really. In the 6 months I've been a Volvo owner I've had 2 weeks with a perfectly functioning, no-faults car. Not great is it.

How can such an obvious fault get passed Volvo quality control, dispatch and dealer preparation stages and handed over to a customer, I can only think the door was damaged at the dealership and they resprayed it and tried to pass it off, surely Volvo quality control cannot be that poor. Or can it.

A big problem "ourdesign" will have now if rejecting the car (as I would) is will he get a replacement registered before the new road tax levy comes in, in April. This could cost him a lot of money over the next 5 years. Compo required in some form.
