Yet Another Grill Question....?
I'm not sure if I read this some where but cant seem to find it again?
I remember someone saying that the front grill can be taken apart as in the badge (I know this does) and the fins from the matt chrome/chrome surround. Thats the bit I'm interested in is that the fins can be removed from the surround please? Also if this can be done can you buy just the fins from the stealers and does any one know the price and part number please? Any help would be greatful please.

The grille comes right apart to all of its parts quite easily once you get it on a bench. I don't think the dealers will sell you the parts individually though, just the complete grille. Check your local dealer though in case they will

All from ebay, either cars being broken for parts, or the parts alone. Took a good few months to gather all the bits. I found my parts already the right colour, which helped!

Your car looks awesome now! Love it with silver rails and mirrors too.. Top job!
What can you possibly do next!? One question, do the facelift rear lights fit with an older rear bumper? Or must rear bumper and rear lights be fitted at same time? |

I'm trying to remember which way round it is -
I think the new lights come down further than the old, so you can fit a new bumper while leaving your old lights on (leaving a 2 inch gap between bumper and lights), but can't fit the new lights while the old bumper is fitted, because the bumper comes up too high and will get in the way of where the lights go by a couple of inches. It's either that or completely the opposite!! (Helpful, I know!) |

Damn! In that case, any chance you (or anybody here) has an old style rear light for grabs?
