i had 240 about 3 another 1989 240 and want to convert it to lpg .... any one know of anybody who might have a kit for sale ???? happy 240 owner again :-) many thanks mike

Well, I was gonna put a pic of my old truck up, but I don't think I'll bother after seeing John h's and reading his build thread!! Stunning, truly stunning. Love to see it in the flesh one day.

I watched this and another one overtaking in the fast lane on the way back from the BKV. What surprised me was how impressive and imposing they looked. I'd imagine a few other drivers might have had the same thought, as 240's usually seem to be found in the inside lane

Yeah two very cool clean estates, would have been cool to get a pic. 3 abreast would be even cooler!

found this picture of my car in the outside lane going for it

that was back in 2010 after the northern bkv. i have a picture somewhere of me overtaking several other volvos including an amazon but cant remember where it is.

while i was digging through old pics also came across this:

beside the kessock bridge at inverness

and in aberdeen beside an elgin registered GL. it still resides there 3 years on but is now parked in the driveway. untaxed. and has a note in the window saying "not for sale" i must pop up by sometime and speak to the owner!
