or perhaps that's just clever salesmanship?

I am so glad they have got rid of that horrible little whirring electric drivers seat motor .My partner and I are two totally different heights and she leaves the seat tight up to the front .I jump in and crick my back and have to wait while the motor whirs back 4” ,much simpler to just pull a lever . Don’t want the power tailgate either really but better than the seat.

fair enough, although i'm not sure most people would agree about that. My wife pulls the chair forward, raises the height and tips the back forward. Takes me ages to get it back to how it was (especially as seat 'height' is usually a ratchet arrangement and takes ages to do). I'm sure i never ride in the same position twice.

You know that the seats will move themselves before you've even got in the car - when you use your own key?

As far as i'm concerned, those motors are worth their weight in gold.

Its just horses for courses you cant please all of the people all of the time and no I didn’t know they altered before you got in via the key so that helps allot but I still don’t like electric everything ,to many electric motors to go wrong ,bit old school sorry

You may be new to this but you are our best friend at the moment as we have been waiting for this spec for weeks.Even some of the Volvo dealers don’t appear to have it so you have pulled off a right stunt getting it into the forum so quick ,thanks very much.

I am getting the same as you, around 31 mpg for mixed driving, this is an amazing difference - and the emissions have dropped by 15 g/km also!!

Is this a new engine - or just a tweak - if it is a tweak I would dearly like to have it, after all the engine has the same power - I wonder what they have done?

Most probably a whole new injection system to get from Euro4 to Euro5.

Powered tailgate is a brilliant thing. We got it (as an option) due to the weight of that thing.

Agreed indeed. I've just spent over an hour re-designing my order according to it and am going to surprise my dealer in the morning! Very many thanks indeed for posting it.

I think there will be a few people with orders “in the pipeline” going into their dealers armed with a re spec and prices in the next few days!
