Default MY VVT is no longer Rattling!!!!

Cam belt kit, water pump and VVT pulley all fitted today, including topping up the AF, came to £191 for labor

Annoyingly now though, i can hear the Idle gear rattling where previously it was masked by the VVT. Not a huge issue and expected on an older car, but none the less.....irritating!

If you eventually find the bastards then let me know...ill get myself a couple of wooden barrels loaded with nails,we can then put them inside the barrels, close the lid shut and roll them down a hill.

I'll give you a hand

But really that's so bad after you looke after it so much
I was wondering though how they got it? Mine was fairly different to the usual V40 but in all the years never got attacked. One of the things that made me but it was the fact they have approved immobiliser and an alarm.

Next job, idle gear?

It is great, not hearing the 'whir, click, whir, click', isn't it?

Collected Neville from an overnight stay in a van hire compound.
All is well - no dents or dings!

The one he is selling is a 2.0T, according to the signature.

Must be a T4, or a top spec 2.0T with ALL the options.

Received the calipers and carriers from Gatos today. Thanks Alex!

Should start cleaning them tomorrow, if time allows.

Start night shift tomorrow and Thursday, so should have a bit of time during the day to get them started.

Received my new discs and pads yesterday and springs are due here tomorrow.

Power seat should also get tested 'out of car', tomorrow, prior to wiring in the power supply and FINALLY, the seat fitted into the car!

Gary

Bloody hell Danny. That was fast. You've only received the parcel this morning and you've already fitted half of the bits on the car!!!!

Is the speedo bezel with the chrome rings intact? Was a bit worried about it sticking out.... (Not the plastic glass bit, as It had one broken clip already and I left it on to give a bit more structural support against any knocks

Alex, you are one of the best (no, the best) packers that I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.

That plastic cover was wrapped to perfection! As was the brake caliper set.
