DEFCON 1 avoided
I've had a call from the dealer today and they've agreed to replace the car with a new one. I may have to wait until November for it as it'll be another factory order but meanwhile I can continue driving the current one.
Phew! I have the option of choosing a different paint colour. My original choice was Savile Grey before I changed it to Bright Silver.
