Well getting the door back flat and profile nice after welding the patch was a bit of work. The welds aren't spot on but I can't bring myself to add anymore weld. I would go back to how I normally tig in repairs, a inch of weld then plannish back into shape. It takes longer to weld but so much better for keeping the shape and profile. There is just one little low area which is a bit awkward to get but I can get to it if standing the doors up. I have a slapper file that I started using with my big dolly, it made raising the lows really easy. I'd never used it before and was really surprised how great it worked. My mate stripped down the quarter windows, they need some new rivets and a coat of epoxy and will be really nice.

It's nice to see this being done with so much precision. I suspect mine will get a coat of enamel put on with a roller!

Nice neodymium hard drive magnets. Essential bits of kit!

Thanks. The 131 door skins are really soft, I got the welded ares back level and then plenty of time getting the profile back right. It was a pain but a good learning as well.

I have a small bucket of the magnets. Don't get them anymore but so handy.

Now the real dusty bit is over the room needs painting. Still got the floor to do before I start the bodywork. Might all need painting again before topcoating to minimise dust.

We know he’s no need to!

She’s obsessed with food, probably wondering where the treats have gone.

She so girly with her pink collar. 😂 had to take her pink harness off as she got paint on it and on herself.

Did he take the catches off? I'm trying to do this with a quarter light I am fitting to my 1800ES and would like some tips. I want to swap round a couple of quarter light catches so that I fit the best of two second hand ones.

No won’t need to. Are they riveted on? If so probably two options pop rivets or take apart and set rivets.
