Spotted 240s - Page 22

No pictures again i'm afraid, but after weeks of seeing none, i saw 2 today!

First was a dark blue estate in a driveway in Verwood, Dorset.

Second was a dark blue saloon at the side of the road with ladders on its roof on the road into Swanage, Dorset.

I tried to get a picture of this one whilst out on the bike yesterday, but i'm sure you'll agree, it was an epic fail!! You may just be able to make out a headlight in front of the Vauxhall estate!!
I did see a red 240 estate on Gravel Hill, Poole, Dorset this afternoon though. It had 2 large spotlights fitted. No picture as i was driving!

WOW! This was right down on page 4!
In Lidl car park, Ferndown, Dorset this morning was a Silver Torslanda with dog guard fitted. Couldn't see the year as the tailgate was up and the owner was sat in the boot with his dog!

Hi there looking at how many views you have had on this thread I would say it's very populare,Views 15099,replies 213..We must remember they are declining somewhat.

I have seen two recently but only one had a reg I could remember as it was mentioned by me for sale locally.
Keep up the good work as I enjoy looking in every now and again.

Spotted a red 240 estate on a backstreet in Cambridge while I was cycling home from work tonight. Can't say what age: it had a personalised plate with no year identifier - but ballpark 1990, I reckon.

My dad reckons he saw a Red Tors at the bottom of their street in Gateshead, but he also reckons he saw the Titanic sink.... So who knows.

Seen a couple around recently:

A blue estate on a B plate looking sorry for itself on a driveway in Birchfield Close, Addlestone, Surrey.

A white 240GL estate parked on Copthall Way, Woodham, Surrey fairly regularly.

A white Torslanda parked on Hersham Road in Hersham, Surrey.

And a silver GLT parked on Southdown Road in Hersham. At least, I think it is, but I've only been past at night and at speed so I haven;t had time to observe closely!

Yesterday at about 13:20 - a late ("G"-reg) dark blue/green estate towing a caravan on the northbound M6. The operator came across from the East-bound M6 slip to the northbound M6 very late.

White 240 saloon this morning at 9.50 whilst stopped at lights on A580 going into Manchester.
I was in outside lane, it was in inside lane. Only saw its reflection, in tailgate of dark coloured blandmobile in middle lane!
