yes you definitely need the remote to turn up brightness and contrast ..I think the free view box has a contrast setting to ...

No updates are needed to update digital ...
only updated needed is if your FREEVIEW box if it needs updating... latest software etc mine is still working fine

yes thanks to when YOU TUBE GOT TOOK OVER BY GOOGLE
 I and many others lost there account along with loads of video files that I can no longer show and no idea what they where I also had holiday videos now lost as well as my Radio Control model planes ... boats etc ...

how can I loose stuff ?
see the videos ... No I cant neither hence there no longer so if I did not delete them them...... Then where are they .... along with my radio control planes and holiday videos etc. I had to open another account you tell me sent in emails to youtube ... no reply
