this has probably be posted before but spotted an early dash 240 in the video for "together in electric dreams" by phil oakey. its very brief though you just see "volvo cassette" and then a couple of shots of a A frame headrest and then the centre dash clock confirms it being an early car

Just come back from Philadelphia on US Air. One of the comedies on the in-flight entertainment was an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm where they test drive a 240 saloon fitted with a periscope. Hilarious!

I actually got the car back last week. They never rang me back either, seems it changed hands within the film & tv vehicles circuit a couple of times and then I spotted it up for sale last weekend in Hillsborough! It's been in a couple of new film projects that should be in the cinema this summer so keep an eye out for it....

Anyone see the 1979 245 in lightfields last night, it was supposed to be set in 1975 so had an m plate on it, but definitely a 1979 model, square headlights, plastic mirrors, later type door cards and upholstery, also wheels with the two part center trims with the black v. Wife thinks I'm mad lol!
