  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

Basically, if the car is serviced at a dealership, they should check for updates and install the latest ones (if there's any available) as part of the service. Its all done via diagnostics. Whether they did or not is another story... they should, but we know garages should do a lot of things and don't.

Some independents Volvo specialists can install software updates, but not all. You'd have to check with an independent if they can do it (if you were to go to an independent I mean).

I'm planning to do next service in dealers, obviously if it's not rip off compare with 2 indys I have around so I will ask. But today i did play with how I approached throttle pedal and it seemed like if i loosen my foot little bit just before it changed gear it was absolutely smooth. I mean when it does shudder its nothing catastrophic, it could be due being cold outside and everything inside just stiff, not sure. Will try and keep searching online if I find something related.
