Cosford Update
It's time for a Cosford 2016 update.
Here is the plan for the day; Gates open at 10.00am 1) Police interceptor and check point welcomes you to the meet...a good talking point photo to show your Friends and family 😂👍 2) Register your car at the VT Event Tent. This is important to register your car for the long distance and high mileage trophies. 🤓👌 3) This year we want you to vote for the cars that receive trophies, so please ensure you pick up your voting form and return this back to the Event Tent before 13:00. The Awards up for grabs are: Best AWD car Best RWD car Best FWD car Longest distance traveled to the meet Highest mileage car And the all important Best car is show. Remember it's up to you how you vote, sometimes the best car may not always be clean or pristine, it may simply be different or it's a car that really floats your boat. 4) The VT parts line will be open and running from the start of the meeting at 10:00am and remain open till 16:00. How does the parts line work? Simply if you have parts for sale write them on a card and peg them to the line. If your interested in buying parts ring the number on the car and deal.....simple.....VT will supply the line, the pegs that hold the cards to the line and the pens to write the detail into the card with.......obviously you supply the parts. 5) The guys from Demond Dents will be in hand to correct those small parking dents, and we'll be raising money for charity with a raffle, please support us in the quest. 6) At 13:00 we will also hold our first ever car limbo competition to find who has the lowest Volvo. It's like a Limbo completion for cars.....in fact that's exactly what it is.....it's a limbo competition for cars....here at VT, we're interested to see how low you can go !! 7) At 14:00 we'll come back together to announce the winners of the awards. 8) From 15:00 onwards we'll be organising the group photos. This leaves plenty of time to eat, meet and walk around the museum which is simply awesome and free to enter. This day always passes quickly so come early and leave as late as you can. Remember Cosford is wheelchair and family friendly with plenty of areas to teat and buy food. 😉😀 More information will be announced as we get nearer the date so please keep watching the boards. Please share and like and encourage other Volvo owners you may know to come along....all are welcome 👏😎 |

I wouldn't mind going to this. However as I'm not a member of any Volvo owners clubs it would have to be as a "general"visitor,so could you tell me how much the admission fee is please? Thank you in advance.

Admission to the Museum is totally free, the Museum does charge a small amount for the car park which we all pay - approx £2-3 iirc. We're having a bit of a Fundraiser too during the day, as we arrive we enter the venue through VT's own Interceptor Check Point - these are Police vehicles in full livery - a donation of perhaps £2 goes into the corrupt officers/fund raisers bucket - an awesome photo opportunity, good fun and raising a few hundred ££ for Charity. One of our Interceptors on patrol recently |

Here is a cheeky sneak look of the quality glassware up for grabs and a reminder of how you guys get to vote for your favourite cars on the day.
1) Register your car at the VT Event Tent. This is important to register your car for the long distance and high mileage trophies. (Ferry crossings also count in the mileage total). 2) This year we want you to vote for the cars that receive trophies, so please ensure you pick up your voting form and return this back to the Event Tent before 13:00. The awards are; Best AWD car Best RWD car Best FWD car Longest Distance traveled to the meet Highest mileage car, speedo will be checked to verify. And the all important Best Car of the Show. In addition, this year we have two extra awards for; 1) best ex police car. Tim Hinton will be voting for his favourite car on the day, this is the only way I can guarantee he does not vote for his own car, (T274 RWK and R775 FJE are exempt) 🤓🍻🚔 2) An award for the lowest Volvo in our Volvo Limbo competition will be scientifically awarded based on my Stanley retractable tape measure. 😂👍 Remember!! ...it's up to you how you vote, sometimes the best car may not always be a clean or pristine example, it may simply be different or it's a car that just floats your boat. |

RAF Cosford
sounds like a good day out. Hope to get there. Is there an admission fee or is it a case of donating to the charity. Either way hope to make it, good excuse to give the xc90 a blast down the motorway. clears the soot filters, well that's my excuse!!

Looking forward to seeing you there.....the Museum is totally free, we are however going to be raising money for Charity through a £2 per car Donation as you arrive....this will be done with the help of VolvoTuning's corrupt Officers in their Interceptors...an awesome opportunity to get a photo of our car being T-Packed
