A mate of mine out here has one of those awful Chevvy SUV's.

It's saving grace is the fact that it has a remote start (so the car is cool in the 50 degree summer heat) and it has AC vents which blow cold air into the bas of the driver and passenger seats.

Presumably it's not illegal to leave the engine running with the car parked as it is here. Not so good for the environment though.

(Previously I have had textile seats and never had a noticable problem).

Which raises a question even if it is too late for this car. Is the heat in heated seats instantaneous or take a while to come through?
I've got them and wouldn't be without them - had them in the last 5 cars, 4 leather one textile - they are great for winter, I use them and keep the heater down low, healthier I think. Shame that I couldn't get them with the rear seats, but the are both 'child' seats. Try Elliot 2 he can fit heaters in the seats for you I believe.

Same as in the UK - only illegal if on a public road.

I was warned by several people to get heated seats comment ranged from: "Volvo drivers like heated seats' , 'leathers seats are are cold in the winter' pleased we got them.
