  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

Ha, I keep putting a downer but seriously, get more experience before a T4 or 2.0T. I wouldn't feel happy driving any of them on 1 years experience - That's just me though - It's your money

I'm 21 and pay £700 to insure a T4 so it does get better quickly, just got to get the NCB up and avoid any knocks lol

You may have seen similar things in other posts, but can I suggest bell.co.uk if you don't mind a little black box attached to your car?

I'd not driven for about 4 years, so I was getting quoted about 1.5k for my 2002 2.0 S40. Bell took that down to about £600, and they have a 10 month accelerated NCB thing.

I don't think you're restricted, but they monitor you and give you a rating, talk to Volvo2002 about it as he has one on his 1.8.

I think they only work on lower insurance group cars though, not sure they would cover a 2.0T or higher.

What's your highest quote for a T4 out of interest?

I don't know how they get away with it...

God knows how much fully comp will be! The cars are only worth 0 - 1700 at the most!
