The normal trick is just to whack the tank with a rubber mallet or wooden block. That is normaly enough to release the valve.
Do you know what make multivalve you have fitted? Sounds like the valve could do with a service but with the heat it can happen even on a new installation. |

I'd almost given up trying to make it free, whacking the tank with a mallet and driving over speed bumps. Then in desperation I tried getting up to 65, switching over, and keeping my foot on the accelerator as the car slowed down to 30. Then suddenly after several seconds it clicked, and worked perfectly after that.
