Because he can put it in for the 'crappage scheme for £2000, so actually selling it for £650 is being quite generous.

I have a 940 now that's probably had £10'000 worth of servicing since new. Would I bother telling anybody this if I was selling?.....

Yes, I did. And the pics are the ones he took - if anything it's in better condition now as it's had the best part of £1000 spent on it in servicing and repairs and I've replaced a lot of the broken trim bits round the bumpers, the rear window washer nozzle, the aerial, the front headlamp wipers... that sort of thing (all with Volvo parts).

I could have cleaned it, but I don't have time. You can imagine it cleaner.

£650 is approximately what I paid for it, and hence what I would want for it if anyone wanted it. But no-one does, so it's off to the scrap man and at least £2000 off a new car for me. See my other posts about a few bits I'm prepared to sell from the car.
