Ok. I've reset everything and managed to identify a ground fault that I've sorted.

Battery now charges and a huge number of DTCs have gone away. Also reset engine service needed indicator that's been annoying me for years!

However... Whilst knocking off the remaining issues one at a time, I had to access the driver's foot well fuse box.

What sort of twisted twisted mind put a completely inaccessible fuse box up there? I'm 6'4" with a damaged knee and there's not a bat's chance of my getting to that - a "person of restricted growth" who happens to be a gifted contortionist, maybe.

An I missing a trick? Is there a simple way of getting to those fuses?

Head back into delivery after you clear the codes and cycle the key. This will show what codes remain in the car. You'll know then what to chase down

Out of curiosity where did you find the ground issue?

There may be different variants but that fuse box is easily accessible via the panel in the drivers end of the dashboard in my car (2005).

They do indeed. My apologies; I was in 2 panels at the weeekend and it's actually the boot panel that looks like the one pictured. Disregard!
