  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Tires and/or poor alignment. The torque shift is practically instant on these systems- see the slow-mo on ice, for eg:

I've got an XC60 B5 (so not supercharged and less power than yourself) and am CONSTANLY spinning the wheels. Happens if the roads are even slightly damp and at the moment the roads seem really dirty for extra slip! I can't use any of the power unless already moving or on summer roads. Really miss my old AWD XC60 in times like these. Can even spin the wheels while moving if I stab the throttle hard enough. I don't think the extra instant boost from the hybrid system is helping in these cases either. Just need to pull away slower

I assumed and maybe incorrectly that all the XC models were permanant all wheel drive with the torque proportionally shifting to the axle with the most grip..

No, if you're cheap like me you have the 2WD version Saves on buying multiple tyres if i need to replace one though.

My V60 D4 (FWDjis really bad (on 20” PS4s). Had a Megane Trophy 300 prior which had much better traction! Quick getaways need careful planning and a good gap in the traffic!
