Bl**dy hard to clean though! I agree they look great - my white Torslanda had them too, but with all those spokes cleaning took ages!

I have a set of Cornoas in my cellar that could do with a refurb.

I'm open to offers if anyone wants them. Collection from Huddersfield - I can't be bothered deal with delivery unless it's very local.

Sorry, I've introduced this confusion, and now there are 2 threads in one talking about different wheels.
I must write out 100 lines "Torslanda wheels are called Scorpius".

The eBayer that won the auction certainly got a bargain.

99p with tyres fitted. Maybe the location played a part in that.

I have these ( as in the eBay auction ) fitted to my Blue manual 240 and they sure are difficult to clean with all those nooks and crannies.

Any suggestions.

I read elsewhere that the main problem is that hot brake pad dust actually penetrates the paint surface and if that is true then I guess only a refurb will bring them up to scratch.
But they would suffer again in time so not up for a refurb.
The fact that my fronts are more speckled than the rears would tend to bear this out.
Nothing seems to remove the stubborn specs.
