There's definitely something wrong with that steering, I thought the V6 slightly lighter than the red block, and with a red block my 740 is very light. Have you tried changing the fluid? If the fluid is ok could be a pump or rack problem, or possibly top mounts?

Incidentally on all my cars I have fitted power steering filters, works wonders at taking the crap out of the oil and cleaning the system and with clean fluid it works so much better and smoother. It is common on heavy commercials to have steering system filters so why not cars???

I think a 260 retro-fitted with a B280E or F would be a dream, all the plus points with many of the B27/8 problems reduced. Anything to do with the engine best looking to delorean or renault alpine circles where parts and info is very available.

Lubricating the two universal joints on the steering column in the engine bay can make quite a difference.

Hi, I see that the 264 DL auto is rare in u.k so also in sweden, only 6 left and mine is the only in traffic.

Mine has 12.200 kilometers on the trip and the car is in very good condition inside and under, the motor is running perfect and also so the automatic.

The car has only 3 owner before me and have a full history.
