Is it akin to the video above???

If so then its the Air Mass Meter Cut. Basically the AMM is detecting that its flowing far to much air than it should be and thus it basically retards the car.

Now if your still running stock boost its possibly down to that you have boost leaks or in my case i had huge exhaust leaks from the manifold and where the turbo joined the manifold. These combined made the AMM think the engine was taking in far too much air.
Fixing these leaks and the AMM cut dissapeared.

If you've raised the boost pressure up then you may be hitting the limitation of the fueling that the ecu can provide so hence why you get AMM cut.

Could also be a collapased cat that has had the pieces then start to block up the exhaust boxes. Quick check would be to whip the cat off and have a look.

Ok...

Picked up from my local garage.. Serviced!!! They also replaced the distributor car and rotor arm...
They suspected the Turbo.. Took the pipes of and free'd it up.. They said it was a bit gunked up as the previous owner must have never given the car some welly...

Anyway... On the way back.. dropped a gear and floored it.. It happily went to the redline so all is good...

I shall be on the look out for a replacement Turbo unit though as some point though...
