Good result.
Let us know how you get on with installing and adjusting - you may find that your old cable had stretched a little but I think there is some adjustment (thumbscrew type thing?) at the engine end which can have an effect on shift points. Not fully convinced mine is 100% optimal at the moment, on my list of things to look at.. |

Just an update really. New cable fitted and all working well. The old cable was completely rusted solid, although looked fine from the outside. Lots of info about how to adjust the cable on-line. Very easy to fine tune once in place. I got these little cable syringes from Halfords to inject lubricant/ATF down the cable outer on a regular basis!
