  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

Good result.

Let us know how you get on with installing and adjusting - you may find that your old cable had stretched a little but I think there is some adjustment (thumbscrew type thing?) at the engine end which can have an effect on shift points.

Not fully convinced mine is 100% optimal at the moment, on my list of things to look at..

Just an update really. New cable fitted and all working well. The old cable was completely rusted solid, although looked fine from the outside. Lots of info about how to adjust the cable on-line. Very easy to fine tune once in place. I got these little cable syringes from Halfords to inject lubricant/ATF down the cable outer on a regular basis!
