Turns out it was a dpf temp sensor. New sensor, forced regent and additive in tank £150 runs fab again!

Out of interest, what the procedure on the forced regen?
I haven't got DICE and probably won't...too much aggro for me, I'll buy one of these http://www.ukprodiagnostics.co.uk/pa...8&p=108117.cfm I've often read that forced regen should be done by a 'professional' only...don't understand why?

I think they just initiate it with the diagnostic machine. I think the proffesional thing is due to it has to be on concrete or something that won't melt as the exhaust gets really hot and could be a hazard.
