Yes, had similar in my old V40 and it was brilliant. It's a pity Volvo haven't carried it on with newer models.

Likewise on my A4 Audi - most useful. I can't see why Volvo don't do the same - the space is there, it's just wasted with a cover which does nothing. In the V70 I accept that there is quite a lot of storage under the boot floor, but that's less easily accessible and totally inaccessible if the car is loaded.

To provide some capacity details to that boot tidy I bought, I've just packed the following items into it:

1. Large torch/lantern;
2. Large air freshener spray bottle;
3. Two regular microfibre cloths, one plush microfibre cloth and one window cleaning cloth;
4. Several pairs of nitrile gloves;
5. A spray bottle of Sonax Brilliant Shine Detailer;
6. A large RAC foil blanket for emergency use.

The bag was fairly full but not bulging.
