I've decided against the bottle type. I think they are only useful for very specific cars. It's because they are designed like a bottle with an hydraulic piston inside. That design means the minimum height is the same of the bottle and the maximum height will always be double the height of the bottle/capsule.
Given the jacking points on the 940 (as measured on my car) are 150mm to 180mm, the maximum height would be roughly 300mm, which just isn't enough I think. Not for most of the work at least. So I'm now looking into the design you guys suggested. See if I can get one of those on the lighter side, maybe aluminium as Forrest said.

Yes, the ramps are so good for fluids, exhaust work and that type of stuff.
