Can anyone tell me where to find the Licence Number???? According to the handbook, I need to go to a website, the details of which should be included with the DVD's, but I'm blowed if I can find it.

I also note that the handbook seems to say that I need the engine running for the 5+ hours that it takes to load the update!! Very eco-friendly.

I will look up the website for you later on, and post it unless someone else beats me to it - you then have to enter your VIN and email address to get an activation code from the site. When you insert DVD1 it prompts you to enter this code in before it installs.

The system will only install when the engine is running - correct, but it is clever enough to restart if you stop and start the engine so it just gets on with it over a few days worth of driving - note you can't use the satnav while its installing.
Unless your me and now its stuck in pause mode no matter what I do - dealer visit Friday!

You don't need to have the engine running. You can install the update by just switching on the sensus system from the audio on/off button. But it shuts down about every 15 minutes, then you just switch it on again and it carries on.

Thanks for replies, I found the website. It was in the set of instructions that came with the discs that I had filed in the glovebox!!! Doh!
