  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

You are right again Chris...there was a small piece of plastic blocking the front slot but once removed the thicker filter slotted in no problem...Thanks, Tam.

This is what one owner experienced recently. Do you think by leave it out he meant remove the old one and run without or simply ignore it ?

When I got my V70 PII I found smells came into cabin even when on re-circulation was on auto for AQS to work. To my amazement when I opened up the compartment there was nothing in either slot!!

I then wondered how I was going to get the new one in as the slot seemed tilted inwards meaning filter would go in by about an inch and then no further. Then noticed on side of filter a crease and thought for moment it was damaged - nope it was neatly engineered to bend as you push filter hard into housing. Job done and difference was night and day! If you run without any filter you'll get every smell and cr*p through and pollens gallore to make you sneeze or set off asthma.

Rattly wheeze from cars air ducts and a slight bit of dust not sure if that was paranoia kicking in
