Just clocked over 154000 miles earlier in the Week in my 53 plate S60 D5, though that was high till seeing this thread, Engine is still so stong, and get a few surprised faces when I pull away from them or can keep with people easily. had it for 6 months now and so happy with it. :-)

Hi guys, my first post but I'm afraid you are amateurs!!
My 99 V70 has just reached 417,000 today. I bought it with 300,000 on it 5-6yrs ago and still going well. The last 115k on LPG
Aiming for 500k...

My late P2 XC70 D5 SE (07 reg, July) now at 57k, increasing at 35k/yr. I bought it last August with 36k on because of the reputation Volvo's have for very high mileages. Hoping it will keep going with regular maintenance without any major problems.

It replaced a Vectra C 1.9CDTi which was at 74k without problems but not with the same reputation for very high mileages. By Aug/Sept, the XC70 will be around the same mileage & hopefully will go on for some time more.

Apart from service items it has been 100% reliable - he says, touching wood !
