It seems to me the difference is, when you use VIDA to clear faults it comes up with that message, turn on, turn off, rev, do a little dance, make a little love get down tonight, which I've never really done. whereas the battery may be a proper complete reset?

I assume by 'set procedure' he meant having key in position 2 so the headlights coming on absorbs any jolts which could in theory damage the various modules? or something like that
Thanks for that had no idea there was a special procedure

BCM-0050 CONTROL MODULE FAULTY SIGNAL
BCM-0114 COMMUNICATION AYC SUGNAL MISSING SIGNAL
BCM-0116 COMMUNICATION AYC SENSOR COMMUNICATION PROBLEM
ECM-A02B COMMUNICATION CONTROL MODULE FOR ANTI-LOCK BRAKES FAULTY SIGNAL.

These are the current faults, but i think the abs ones will go as when i drive the light gies off, i usually check the codes before i start the car to go somewhere so abs fault would kind of be active if that make sense
