Its easy to start a section you just need enough members to start just find somewhere to start ie apub or your local Volvo dealer who has room for you to sit you then require a chairman, secretary, and treasurer its the secretary that finds places for meetings, you could also ask Wrights independant Volvo in attleborough if they could accomadate when you have a fixed date try to get into a volvo driver magazine and notify a club director and one will come to your meet to answer any questions plus you would get a get up help cashwise from the club, because at times pubs require payment for a room we charged a small amount at each meet per club member to pay for room ,several members in my day were on shift work, but we had a good turnout up to 40members at one time we even went for a xmas dinner at the Kings Head in Dereham.. We found towards the end a lot of apaphy..could be on a wk/end or evening for meets..may i wish anyone good luck if you intend to start another Norfolk section..regards Vic Barnes. VOC Disabled register ps we held a lot of meets at the Hotel in Hingham

If you do get a "Norfolk Section" up and running you can count on support from
us lot in Suffolk ( just don't pick the same meeting day as us).

Good luck,

im loving all these idea's for a group. I can help with running it as i work evenings and am avalible most times. A good ride out, from Acle follow the old coast road through horsey and finish in cromer. there is also a petrol station there, ive done it many times, some really nice corners and great photographic scenery to take some shots of the cars.

awsome, all we need now is a meeting place/time/date, im always off sundays, so sundays would be good. Say a meeting place at the acle services roundabout to top up fuel/food. then out to the coast.

hear is a basic map of the route http://routebuilder.org/7cz

Our local Humber group meets up every two months on a Saturday at a pub for lunch. It started out all about the cars but now more about the people. The norwich classic vehicle club meet at Anglian windows social club on the first Wednesday of the month large place plenty of parking. Our life is run by Simons shifts 4 days 4 off 4 nights so we fit things in where we can or have to work out if he needs to book holidays for shows. So if we are up for a local meet just need to sort out where an when, or maybe a evening get together first as the nights are getting longer?

Thanks Lightyears! But hell y'all, can we stop talking about it and just get on with it?! Personally speaking, other than drive around the sticks wasting petrol/deisel, I'd rather meet (at least initially) at a Pub. And once there we can introduce ourselves, thrash it out, and decide on further events/action! Wadiyasay?
