  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

Go for it!

When you buy a v40 you get a lot of car for your money. I paid £900 for mine 3 years ago now and have done 50K in it - it has problems that will prevent it having a long life but the cost to distance ratio is tiny

That seems to be okay for the market value at a dealership (not a Volvo dealership).

Sounds a reasonable price to me for a dealership car, as you should be able to return it within the first few weeks if it starts causing trouble.

I will get in touch with the dealer to find out more information.

Hopefully they will be willing to take a younger car in part exchange and offer cash back as my current car is worth more.

You would be far better off selling your current car privately, you'll do better in both selling your current car and the buying of the v40.

Don't sweat over the mileage, i have 170,000 bought it at 160,000. runs like watch!

Got a 2004 , 1.9d, v40 full leather recently, 170k, few minor electrical faults which I fixed for £30, paid £850 so can't grumble
