960 loud ticking noise. - Page 2

Thanks for all this guys - exactly the same on my 940, audible a tick over, goes away once on the move........thought I would just live with it, but at least now I know what it is!

I use a 3 foot length of garden hose. One end to my ear and then move the other end around engine to hear where the sounds coming from. It saves you losing or burning your ears.
