Default DIM problems

I removed my DIM myself, quite straighforward, sent it off to clusterrepairs in Great Yarmouth and it came back good as new - they phoned me during the work to explain all the problems with it. Mileage kept the same - brilliant service - cost £109.

Hi thanks for all the advice. I sent my dash off the guy on this forum and service was really good, order it Monday night and received a new just now. Sent my old one back upon receiving the new one to avoid any downtime with the car. Getting error messages reset tonight so fingers crossed everything keeps working!

Spokoluzik on this forum is blindingly good with these sort of Volvo problems. I recommend him.

Just a follow up on the DIM issue, I've found a post on a different Volvo forum that describes in detail the issue with the DIM module with photos- we have to be registered on the forum to access the photos but they are very clear. The guy shows exactly where the microprocessor solder had broken on his car. I think it's the best post on the subject so here is a link, the post it's on the first page, at the bottom, the poster's nick name is 'budulan'
