I would start with "commanded throthle actuator" "maf airflow", "dpf differential pressure", "fuelrail pressure", "rpm", "speed", throthle position (doesn't seem to work on mine though), "battery voltage", "requested alternator voltage", and perhaps some values related to the turbo. That should cover a pretty wide range of potential causes.
Edit: or just be patient and see what the garage says on Tuesday Cheers Last edited by jobbzz; Mar 7th, 2020 at 09:16. |

Sure I just forgot to mention it might be a slow/stuck EGR valve as well. Especially since it occurs just after gear shifts. When you press the clutch the engine is not under load so it opens the egr valve to recirculate the exhaust flumes but then when you hit the throttle again it doesn't close properly so you experience a lack in power. You won't necessarily experience this pulling away from standstill because the EGR should be closed during idling
You can check the actual EGR position vs the commanded position which should follow each other pretty closely. I would expect an error message though if this deviate to much, but that is just my opinion. |

Very strange how it only happens at 1600-2000rpm along with the electronic sounding whine.

Could a bad alternator cause these issues?
Just hooked it up to Vida there and whilst running battery voltage is at 12.6v

Dropped off first thing and called me just after 10am.
2 injectors and an alternator. They say the misfire is from the injectors and the whine is the alternator. I'll speak in more detail with them tonight when I pick the car up.
