Here's a link to my experience with the Broquet too:
http://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showth...hlight=Broquet Having just come back from a 5 wk stint overseas, I started my car and took it for a drive and it still made the mind-boggling boost it was making before I garaged it and left. More evidence that the fuel has probably not degraded as much as one would have initially expected.

Hmm, I'l be replacing my fuel-pump soon (that is, if I EVER receive the damn thing I ordered 5 weeks ago!), maybe a good moment to drop a bag of these in the tank whilst doing so.

That would definitely be a good opportunity to drop a Broquet catalyst into the tank, as you will have to remove, and dismantle the entire assembly to change the fuel pump. One thing to bear in mind is that is also a good opportunity to change any of the rubber hoses in assembly if they appear to have degraded. If you chose to do that, not any old rubber or fuel hose will work as you need one which is designed to be bathed in fuel and work, not just carry fuel through its lumen. I made that mistake and after 4 months the fuel had 'eaten' through the first hose I used, right down to the cord!!. SW Autos have since fitted some "special" hose for that very reason and its stood up very well.
