Thank you for that, my mistake like I said not really up with Volvo being a bit of a newbie to the brand.

Good entertainment and promotes the cars. I just love the "DISCOUNTS" they get. Wish I could ! Both series seem to have decent presenters and having met them they come across as decent genuine people.Last nights P 1800 was clearly was as solid as a rock from the outset and they did an amazing job on it. Made up for the owner i hope he gets many happy years driving it.

Will be eagerly looking to download as don't have National Geographic so will have to be patient.
Glad the program came across well Clive wonder if we notice a prices rise in our cars as a result but that will be difficult to judge i guess as from what I have seen they a little inconsistent.

There's a very nice white '67 1800S being sold by a dealer on ebay at the moment for £29,950! It states that its 'fast appreciating', but probably not at that price........

Its really odd Steve. Prices are fluctuating .

I try not to worry these days. Bought the car for me cause I liked it but if it had been down to making money I could have had a 280 Brooklands for what I paid and they have gone thro the roof by comparison.

I tend to make the mistake of buying retail and selling wholesale!!!

I want one now too.
Story:
Back when I was about 18 or 19 (1971-2 ish), an acquaintance in the local pub (Sovereign, Tynemouth) had a P1800. One day it was stolen, despite the crook lock.
Later recovered, seems the theives simply put some weight on the steering wheel and the rather flimsy spokes just bent down out of the way and the crooklock was removed.
Always loved the shape inc the estate which seems to be less highly valued presently, never driven one though.

A little bird told me that one on CarSOS cost about £50k to fix up, not including a few freebies. Not quite worth that though (yet!)
