Thank you. I intend to be patient before risking uninstall (cautious Volvo driver!) to see if Volvo worldwide resolve the issue... having spoken to the UK HQ they claim it is a known bug.

I'll let the forum know what happens here.

Greetings from England (about half of us are friendly!)

Forgive me if this sounds dumb....
Why not use a mobile phone with your music loaded to it and then blue tooth across to the car. This works in my 2023MY v60 T6. I get a Samsung icon which I can expand to show either artists, tracks, albums. It don't play the tracks in album order, but think that's down to a phone setting. Also if I plug the phone in to charge, the Samsung icon is blank, but returns if I manually start any track direct from the phone...weird.
Cheers Bob

Audio quality over Bluetooth isn't as good is my reason....that and the fact that the car theoretically has a better mobile signal than your phone due to the external aerial.

Arghh! Same here (i.e. no change). Frankly I've little confidence in Volvo resolving the issue but I'll give them another 24 hours before raising a formal request / complaint about resolution. Please let me know if you have any luck in the meantime - I'll do likewise.

Sounds like you never listened to radio Luxembourg on a transistor radio lying on the rear shelf same applies to video.. I,m still happy to watch B/W film and tv shows. Being old has its benefits.
Phone is blue tooth straight to car, don’t think mobile signal relevant.
I may not have perfect reception but don’t notice it.

Can’t be bothered to load music onto the phone, lol….

I do have apple car play which works perfectly, BUT telephone audio/mic is through the phone which is far worse 😳

Phone mobile signal is relevant if browsing/playing music on Spotify, as the mobile must download the song to play, then send it over BT to the car.

Admittedly there is very little difference to streaming direct to the car from a coverage point of view, but setting the Spotify quality to extreme in the car does make an audible difference me!

Is this not fixed yet? I'm driving back from Alps Saturday that'll be over a week since it went kaput.

Ok....every days a school day. Need to learn up on this.
However, it still seems a phaff on. My phone works as a wireless media player, a creative zen version of which served me well in earlier Volvos. Its not an infinite play list but sufficient for me and wife, and she can select a track/album far faster than you can with voice commands. FYI my older 2014 V70 is FAR worse at recognising voice commands than V60 assos.( obviously has a thing about Geordies )
Cheers Bob
