Hello, I'm a tit I now understand from a learned poster who in another breath wants other people to be careful how they address him on a public forum

If you ride a bicycle on the main road then yes, your a bit of a gland, :-)
(Btw you've come a long way in your grasp of the language, some time back all you you could muster in a particular post was 'fots', well done you you wee scholar.. gold star.) Last time i sat on a bike i exclaimed "fots sake" but i had a cig in my mouth!

I take comfort in not being alone on the bike score.
Go to the gym if you need excercise, just stay of my roads.

If you could indicate which ones are yours I'd be happy to keep off them.

You should make them toll roads, you'd make a fortune if you own all of those.

It's clear you need to get yourself on a driver awareness course ASAP.

Really?
I can see cyclists perfectly well, i give them plenty room so what particular part of the course do you think would change my view or benefit me exactly?

Did you jump to the conclusion that i am in some way a menace to cyclists?

I suppose if they have the power of ESP they may consider me that, and more.

You could also try riding a horse or a bike drunk but when caught then like a driver get points on your license, and banned from using the roads if your license if removed; that ban has been previously extended to both horses and cycles.

We all share the roads but have a duty to responsibility.

There are times and places to ride horses, bikes and drive cars but more often that not in todays cramped society the space to do all three or even two at once just is not there making it dangerous for all parties.
A motorway is not a public highway in the traditional sense and as such has special rules, quite rightly, it's for motor vehicles.

Cyclists can of course be prosecuted and fined for irresponsible (furious is one of the offences) cycling, but cannot have penalty points added to their motor vehicle license, why should they? If they cause injury, they can also face a prison sentence.

Bicycles are a key solution to urban pollution and congestion in our cities and the use of depleting fossil fuels, I cannot recall anyone being killed by a cyclist ( but it's likely) yet 5 per day, every day die by motor vehicle.

Sure, a percentage of cyclists are ****s that run red lights etc., but the same (in fact more) percentage of motorists are as bad, and their machines are actually lethal.

I find this 'gerroffmyroad' attitude quite amusing actually, it belongs to a certain personality that eventually finds themselves in court over something ridiculous (usually property related) and ruined by legal fees.

From a personal perspective i have no 'cyclist agenda' as such and certainly have no intention of straying on the wrong side of the law, for property related matters or otherwise, i just don't like cyclists mixing with traffic (sue me), and as you correctly state it ends in fatalities.

To be fair as I said once before let's see the video10 to 15 minutes before the Incident.

Just to get a background how the guy was riding.
