If you need any help or a chat, drop me a Pm Alex and I'll happily share my experiences from changing suspension bushes to rust tackling.

You'll regret this....... I've reading online about the 240 and trying to learn a bit. Found a bit of deeper rust near the rear window panel and a bit of surface rust on the rear wheel arch and that's it. The rest is immaculate.

I am puzzled of how to clean the air vents on the bulkhead/windscreen. They are full of leaves and need to come out

Nice one Gatos....

You won`t be disappointed with the 240.......this is mine about 10 years ago ...it was a real slogger workhorse 2.1 engine...

The last TRUE Volvo was the `96 960 not even the `97 as more plasticky parts had come in that year...

With difficulty.

Break them up with a stick and use compressed air on them. It should push them down into the a pillars (I think) so take off the trims inside the car and fish out all the **** that's clogged there.

I think that's the way asking in the 200 section will definately provide the answer as you aren't the first person with leafy vents.
