Removing the tailgate trim i finished up with half the plastic clips broken,doing the same to the side window fills me with dread apart from unraveling a loom with god knows how many wires in it.

Hi Ernie,

Mike's suggestion is spot on, as they do share the earth. Strip it all down and have a look, it's not difficult just really fiddly. All the wires run by the left hand hinge, only the washer hose is on the right side of the tailgate.

As the town I grew up in, how's Walsall these days?

Thanks for the reply and info. Actually in Walsall Wood by Oak Park leisure centre if you remember round there. Not to bad and easy to get around from here.
Will i be looking for any particular coloured wire in the loom as i presume it will be the power lead im looking for.
