Hi Clan & Luxobarge

Thanks again for your advice re my ignition coil. I thought I'll just tell you how I sorted it: I bought a coil form ECP (with 31% discount...!! Lovely!), and it came in a Bosch box with a Bosch sticker on it, just like on my old coil.

So now's she's running great again....

Thanks guys.

I have only changed 2 coils on 850 cars in the 20 years they have been around .

Default leaky boot and strong petrol odour inside cab

Hi Guys

I thought I need to pick your brains again: something which I have been having for a very long time: when it rains, my boot leaks in, NOT every time, but most times. Not sure why or where from... Boot gets wet towards the right side of the boot lock, near the loading edge. Any advice on this, please?

Also; last week when it was so hot, when getting into and driving off, there was immediately a very strong petrol odour inside the cab - would you know why?

Thanks again, guys (and girls, if there are any).
