Rear wheel drive rules !, easy to get the power down, T6 version on mine would be O.K in straight line !!, though the autobox can get away from the lights pretty quick !. Thats why I want to chip the C70 not very quick of the mark.....

Hi

My car was sluggish off the line until I had it remapped for the third time ! lol

Something to do with a torque limiter in first ?

DIY black box (aka BSR ? ) has good results - been in a 2.0T C70 which was dramatically improved with BSR.

Hi - see my website

I've had RICA 310, RICA 340 and paid again to keep an MTE map.

All off the shelf maps are similar, so a RICA 310 should far well in your car

Be aware that my car has 285bhp at the crank.

Where abouts in the world are you ? Go to a meet and take a spin.

Chris

EDIT: oops, Hampshire - a mere stone's throw from Slough in a Volvo, no excuses for next month's meet.

Default MTE software.

Hello MDE,

If you do come to the next CB meet you can try my demo 4.3 ECU with MTE software in your car, or come and see me and try before you buy.

Regards, Don.Norchi.

UK distributor of MTE Swedish Engineered software.

MDE,

I have just been reminded by another participant in this thread that I am making a prat of myself as you have a 2001 ME7 equipped car......should have read the thread from the start.

I cannot therefore lend you any ECU for a trial as these ME7's are specific to each vehicle.

However there are usually a few customers of mine with similar year and spec. vehicles to yours with MTE software installed so I am sure you could get some feel for MTE's work if you do come to the CB.

Regards, Don.

Thanks for the posts, Chris will try and make one of the meets ..... may have hit a problem toady with the chip, apparently the L.P.G conversion's ECU does not like re-mapped ECU's, most come pre-set, need to re-think Arrrhh....

I'm guessing the torque limiter is a kind of basic traction aid...keep the boost down in 1st gear!

cheers
