Air con problems - 2007 S40 2.0d - Page 2

Will a stealer foot some of the bill if it is the condenser? It being a known fault and all.

Thanks everyone for the replies. I'm going to try and find out what work was done to the car before I bought it. It's ex lease and on the print out there is an entry for about £700 simply named 'air con'. This tells me that its had a fair amount of work before, and although its now 3 years down the line, I wonder if I would have some weight with Volvo if its the same parts that have gone again. Does anyone know if Volvo uk would have a record of any warranty work previously done to the car?
