lol - we are at opposite ends - I do travel frequently round the country and what might work best is if you were willing to come to Bristol airport I could possibly meet you there and then drop you at a station - if that is any help? Logistically, my work diary is backed up till mid November - so we would be looking at around the 17th or so - possibly earlier. I do have a chap I use to collect cars but the distances we are talking about are expensive.

No worries with Brizzle Airport (have you thought of Cardiff International?) nice drive and I would bring another car (and driver,natch) so the return is no prob, either.

yes - I will call you when free of the "finance director"!!!
cardiff is easy to fly to and cheaper and saves you a rush hour slog as the the plane gets in early

Right, the rain stopped (briefly) so I managed to snap off a few. Quality ain't great as the sun kept buggering about (Hokey-Kokey; you know, in, out, in, out...)

Forgot to mention, in the lists of faults rectified, that I also replaced both rear door locking solenoids with used units from my old mate Buzz at Pensarn Volvos, Cwrtnewydd, West Wales.

Not so sure it is a ZF box, as it has the push-button o/d switch in the gear shift; running fine though, thanks.

I think you right. On 2nd look, I don't think it is a ZF.
