I have the same mirrors, on my iOS Honda they Where rubbish Vibrating all over the place, however I went back to The beginning when the Volvo came, reset all the mounts, now they are good. One thing I have noticed is the arms are full length ie spaced out between the mounts! Before they were close together

Picking up our new V60 next month. Reading the posts, Milenco brand seem to be popular. Is there any special pad / mount that will be needed? Is there a big difference in fittings / usability over their product range?

Milenco Platinum, they have spring loaded clamps which have been designed for door mirrors that have curves.
Go for convex rather than flat.

Whilst on a caravan site last week a BMW X4 arrives sporting a pair of EMUK mirrors. So after a thorough good look at them and the chap letting me have a go at fitting on his car i have ordered a set..

The EMUK mirrors arrived yesterday, had a trial fit and all seems OK. It took a few minutes to find the position where the cast alloy mounting frame matches the mirror casing profile but once in position there is only one clamping screw.
I wouldent say its a precision profile match but the neoprene padding strips compensate for any variations. The arms protude enough for caravans well over 8 foot wide so i will be shortening the arms by 75mm each side. |

Gave these a 220 mile road test down to cornwall this week....great piece of (expensive) kit. no vibration, good clear vision with the mirrors having a very slight convex surface. I cut the tubes down to 110mm from the casting and placed some thin foam on the clamping face. |
