Clive and all,
Just to let you know that I bought this car from St Peter last week. I bought it for my Son, Thomas who is 4 years old and like his Father, he is very interested in Volvo's and always insists on travelling in the front passenger seat of my 240s. St Peter, (the car's new name) is a well cared for example, that will be garaged for the forseeable future and will be brought back to it's best in due course and will be used for Seaside trips etc until Thomas can drive it himself. |

What a brilliant result! Well done to all concerned, and good luck to Thomas!

Good luck to him - there will be ups and downs along the way but overall the 240 is a great car to learn how to work on. It'll be great to see another young 'un going through the same things that i have been doing over the past 6 to 7 years.... Steve

Cheers, I was very happy to take this car on after meeting with the Late owner's Dear Wife and Son. God knows where I am going to store it as it is my sixth car now, four of them 240s. It was the owners pride and joy and theres no way I was going to let it end up banger racing or for spares as these 240gl saloons especially in solid blue are not sought after. Hopefully Steve, you will still be with the Volvo set in 10 -12 years time when Thomas will be the new kid on the block.

Nice to hear this one was saved! Personally I've always liked that colour.
Well done that man!
