Not sure what the op did but I left mine in the end. You can get a 13 pin to 7 pin adaptor which should work if you just want lights and you're not bothered about the van having power while it's connected to the car. My concern was the fridge but I cooled it down on mains electric before we left and it was still not a bad temperature when we got to the campsite 7 hours later. Hooked it straight up to the site electric and by the time we had set up and been for shopping it had cooled right back down again.

If you need the 13 pin though I'm sure the plug will be there, I think it's under the carpet on the left hand side somewhere.
